2024 was a transformative year for our team at Leafpress.

We quadrupled our customer base, partnering with industry leaders like Johnson Controls, Colliers, and Lindt. Today, Leafpress powers energy intelligence for over 50 million dollars helping companies streamline utility data and unlock new efficiencies.

‍Breaking Down Data Silos in Energy Management

For years, facility teams have struggled with inconsistent and fragmented utility data. While our platform provided automated data collection, our customers wanted a seamless way to integrate this data across teams—from operations to finance.

This inspired the launch of our Universal Data Sync, which connects utility data directly from utility accounts, regardless if the account is on a certain list. Now, teams across an organization can access the same reliable data, improving collaboration and decision-making without the friction of siloed workflows.

Simplifying Data Collection and Driving Actionable Analytics

Gathering utility data has long been a tedious, manual process. To address this, we introduced Streamlined Data Collection with drag-and-drop uploads, email integration, and automatic syncs from utility portals. Customers now spend less time chasing data and more time acting on it.

With clean, reliable data in hand, customers can leverage Critical Analytics—such as Energy Use Intensity (EUI) and peak demand metrics—to quickly calculate project savings. These insights empower energy teams to identify high-impact opportunities and present ROI-driven proposals with confidence.

One customer shared how they used Leafpress analytics to justify a $1.5M retrofit project that reduced energy costs by 18% in its first year.

Comprehensive Dashboard for Tracking Missing Data and Overpayments

Incomplete data and billing errors can cost companies millions annually. To tackle this, we launched the Comprehensive Dashboard, giving customers a centralized view of their utility data health.

The dashboard highlights missing data points, flags potential overpayments, and alerts teams to discrepancies before they become costly issues. Customers can now confidently track their energy performance and financial accuracy all in one place.

In just six months, the dashboard has identified over $2M in overpayments across our customer base, providing immediate value while reducing the administrative burden of manual audits.

Fostering Connections Across Disconnected Data

Keeping energy data accurate and actionable isn’t just about maintenance—it’s about fostering collaboration across teams and ensuring everyone has the context they need. This year, we focused on building tools that make Leafpress a sticky, indispensable part of our customers’ workflows.

With features like data sharing and organization management, teams can now collaborate seamlessly, breaking down silos between operations, finance, and leadership. For example, a facility manager can easily share usage trends with a financial analyst to align on project savings or budget forecasts.

These tools have made Leafpress not just a utility data platform but a central hub where decisions are made and teams stay connected. Customers tell us it’s helped their organizations work more cohesively, making Leafpress a product they rely on every day.
